Where We Lay - The Novel
WHERE WE LAY is a literary novel about intimacy, shame, memory and the relationships that shape who we become.
Set against the quiet beauty of Bath and the Lake District, it follows Jacob Ellison, a gifted sixth form student, and Tom Carter, the new teacher whose presence quietly alters the course of his life.
As an unspoken connection deepens, both are forced to confront desire, secrecy and the consequences of a relationship that exists outside the boundaries society is willing to accept.
A haunting exploration of love, guilt and the fragile complexity of human connection.
A new novel exploring grief, memory, addiction and the long shadow of intimacy.
Available 2027.
